URAC Accreditation
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) holds full URAC accreditation for Health Plan and Health Plan with Health Insurance Marketplace. URAC, formerly known as the Utilization Review Accreditation Commission, is an independent, non-profit health care accrediting organization that is dedicated to promoting health care quality through accreditation, education and measurement.
The URAC accreditation process demonstrates a commitment to quality service and serves as a framework for improving business processes through benchmarking organizations against nationally recognized standards.
