BCBSND engaging in a pilot partnership with Thryve Digital

The BCBSND and Thryve Digital partnership will augment our claims processing abilities

FARGO, N.D. – To ensure efficient claims processing during peak enrollment periods, Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) is partnering with India-based Thryve Digital to augment its claims processing abilities. BCBSND added the Thryve capabilities to augment its existing North Dakota based  staffing model to account for seasonal and situational fluctuations in claims inventories. In addition, because of the time difference, utilizing Thryve allows 24-hour claims operations when inventories warrant the work. 

Before contracting with Thryve, BCBSND conducted due-diligence including a thorough review of all security protocols. Thryve is an HMHS-owned health care technology company that provides claims processing services to other Blues plans on the HMHS platform, and BCBSND's contract is with HMHS, not Thryve directly.
