FARGO — Jeff Ubben has been hired as vice president of Compliance, Regulatory Affairs and Special Investigations at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).
In his position, Ubben is responsible for building, implementing and maintaining BCBSND's Compliance and Ethics program. He also oversees the company's Regulatory Affairs department and the Special Investigations Unit.
Prior to joining BCBSND, Ubben worked as North Dakota's Deputy Insurance Commissioner and concurrently served as the General Counsel for the North Dakota Insurance Department.
A North Dakota native, Ubben attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and went on to earn a juris doctorate degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in Grand Forks, N.D.
