Niles Hushka has served as a director on the Board since 2015. Now retired, Niles was the president and CEO of KLJ Solutions, parent company to KLJ, one of the largest multi-disciplinary engineering and planning firms in the upper Midwest.

Niles is recognized throughout the region for his innovative philosophies and creative solutions in the engineering industry and business community. His dedication to high ethical standards, quality work and entrepreneurial spirit propelled him to lead KLJ through record growth and revenue. His career began with KLJ as an entry-level engineer in 1978; he eventually became a member of the corporation’s Board of Directors in 1985 and president of the board in 2008.

As a lifelong learner and leader in his profession and community, Niles is actively involved with startup businesses and disruptive technologies implementation projects. He volunteers his time to educational and community-focused organizations with a goal of generating and sharing positive ideas.
