Now when you call the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Provider Service line, you will be presented with new options and prompts, designed to help you get your answer without needing to wait on hold. Information available through the new self-service feature includes eligibility, benefits, claims and authorizations.
From the start of your call, the new system will guide you through questions. Based on your responses at each prompt, it will direct you through the provider self-service pathway that fits your specific needs – deciding whether it’s an answer the system can provide or one that requires a call center representative.
Because the self-service option is integrated with the new system, information is only available for migrated members. If you input a non-migrated member ID number when prompted for a benefit plan number, you will be directed to a call center representative.
