Mark your calendar—2017 Worksite Wellness Summit

July 6, 2017 Rhonda Ubben

If your workplace is like most, unhealthy people outnumber the healthy ones. That costs your company productivity and profits.

No matter what your position, you can make a difference by starting a worksite wellness program. Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) has free resources to get you started. And this October, we'll be hosting the eighth annual Worksite Wellness Summit to help you get started.

A new format this year

We know you want to get the most out of a conference experience. Therefore, we have designed this year's summit with a slightly different format to allow you to hear keynotes in the morning and to dig deeper and work with the presenters in a workshop experience during the afternoon sessions.

Why attend the summit?

Research shows worksite wellness programs help:

  • Increase productivity and morale
  • Improve the health of employees
  • Decrease health care costs

In short, healthier people work harder and are generally happier, more efficient and helpful. Aren't those the kinds of people you want to be around?

Now in its eighth year, the BCBSND Worksite Wellness Summit has earned the reputation as the go-to event for anyone interested in developing or expanding an existing wellness program. More than 2,200 people have attended past Worksite Wellness Summits, joining the movement to maintain health and reduce chronic conditions in their workplace.

Who should attend
No matter what your business type, from office setting to outdoor work, everyone benefits from a healthier workplace. This summit is perfect for human resource, wellness and health care professionals, business owners/managers, and anyone interested in worksite wellness.
