Who is Eligible for Subsidies?
Subsidies will be available to help with premiums through the Health Insurance Marketplace for:
- Individuals with household incomes at or below 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL)* who do not have affordable coverage at work
- *That is about $46,000 a year for one person and about $94,000 for a family of four
Additional subsidies will be available to help cover out-of-pocket costs for:
- Additional cost-sharing subsidies are available for individuals under 250% FPL
Government subsidies will be based on household income and not exclusively on an employee's salary.
