Raising awareness of men's health
During their lifetime, one in six men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and it is projected that nearly 30,000 men will die of prostate cancer in America in 2013. Yet, awareness and advocacy on behalf of prostate cancer, testicular cancer and other men's health issues tends to lag behind the worthy causes of breast cancer and women's health.

The international Movember campaign encourages men to grow mustaches in November to increase awareness of men's health issues and to spur fundraising efforts to help fight prostate cancer, testicular cancer and other men's health issues. Women are also welcome to get involved.
