Why support Recovery Reinvented?
The disease of addiction continues to devastate North Dakota families, businesses and communities. Now, COVID-19 is placing immense strain on people’s behavioral health.
The North Dakota COVID-19 Community Impact Survey found that nearly 70% of North Dakotans have experienced increased mental health struggles including anxiety and depression, and nearly 1 in 5 adults reported a rise in substance abuse since the pandemic began. Given the greater amount of people impacted by behavioral health issues, we need knowledge and empathy more than ever.
Recovery Reinvented is an initiative founded to eliminate the shame and stigma of addiction in North Dakota. The fourth annual event features experts sharing innovative prevention, treatment and recovery approaches as well as stories that inspire action.
