‘The Voice of BCBSND' roasted at scholarship fundraiser
Friends and colleagues of Larry Gauper, vice president of communications at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND), honored him at a retirement roast October 30 at the Holiday Inn, Fargo. Gauper, long recognized as "The Voice of BCBSND" for his radio and TV ads in North Dakota, will retire January 2 after working for the company for 25 years.
The Fargo-Moorhead Advertising Federation is using proceeds from the event to establish a Larry Gauper Scholarship Fund. Gauper joined BCBSND as vice president of communications in 1982. Before that he worked as a radio DJ, then as an employee of Flint Communications, Fargo.
