FARGO, N.D. —  Albert Barclay has been hired as director of Solutions Delivery at Noridian Mutual Insurance Company (NMIC). NMIC offers quality health care coverage as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

Barclay is responsible for managing the relationship of customer accounts for NMIC's Tools and Solutions. Prior to joining NMIC, Barclay worked for Minneapolis-based Optum, a division of UnitedHealthcare, as senior director for solutions and business analysis.

A native of Princeton, N.J., Barclay earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Maryland in College Park and a Master's of Business Administration in general management from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
