Amber Kienenberger promoted to manager of Communications Projects at BCBSND

Fargo — Amber Kienenberger has been promoted to manager of Communications Projects in Communications at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) in Fargo.

In this role, Kienenberger partners with divisions across the enterprise to develop communications strategies for both external and internal initiatives. In this partnership, Kienenberger works to align communications needs with the enterprise purpose and strategy. In addition, she provides leadership and direction to the writers, graphic artists and web developers in planning and execution of the communications plan.

Kienenberger joined BCBSND in June 2005 as a graphic artist in Communications. She was promoted to graphic artist/project leader in 2008. In 2011, she was promoted to project supervisor and proposal coordinator.

She was born in Winona, Minn., and grew up in Fargo. Kienenberger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic communications from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Moorhead, Minn.
