FARGO, N.D. — Andrea Dinneen has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as manager of public relations in Communications.

She directs the company's public information and media relations efforts, develops media relations strategies and communication plans, acts as the corporate spokesperson, works with media in the state and region and manages written material to align with the corporate business strategy.

Before joining BCBSND, Dinneen worked as a media relations strategist at Sanford Health in Fargo. She was responsible for handling media relations at Sanford in Fargo, including pitching news stories, coordinating media interviews and press conferences, writing press releases and developing relationships with local media.

A native of Willmar, Minn., she graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., with a bachelor's degree in business and communications with an emphasis in public relations.
