FARGO — Anthony (Tony) Piscione has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) as director of Actuarial Reporting and Forecasting.

In his role, Piscione will be responsible for the oversight of actuarial forecasts and reporting. He will provide leadership on actuarial and financial research, reserving, claims and trend analysis, and metrics development. He will also be responsible to provide recommendations to senior management regarding decision making and strategy formulation based on analysis of product experience and financial impacts of strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining BCBSND, Piscione worked at Anthem/WellPoint in Indianapolis.His career included several leadership roles, most recently being named director of Commercial Pricing in 2012.

Piscione graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics. He has achieved his Fellow, Society of Actuaries and Member, American Academy of Actuaries, designations.
