FARGO, N.D. — Sheri Miller has been promoted to manager of Quality Assurance at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).
Miller provides leadership, direction, support and organizational communication related to the administration of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association (BCBSA) quality assurance programs and organizational performance. She leads the Quality Assurance department and oversees BCBSA quality assurance programs. She also oversees key account operational performance guarantees and external operations audits focused on enrollment, claims and inquiry processes.
She began her BCBSND career in 1988 as an information analyst for a Medicare medical patterns of care reimbursement research project. She was promoted to corporate training facilitator in Training and then to corporate training team leader. In 2006, she transferred to development analyst/project coordinator in Development and Business Strategies, now known as the Business Project Management Office. In 2007, she was promoted to senior development analyst/project coordinator in the same department. She transferred to quality assurance team leader in Quality Assurance in 2008.
Miller earned a bachelor of business administration degree in information management from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. She also holds the Project Management Professional certification.
