BCBSND promotes Val Schwartz to manager of the Customer Contact Center

FARGO, N.D.— Val Schwartz has been promoted to manager of the Customer Contact Center at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).

Schwartz provides support, advice and direction to the team leaders and staff in the Customer Contact Center. She manages and ensures all activities and performance of center meet or exceed departmental, national and corporate standards for quality and timeliness of provider and member inquiries. She also ensures employee interactions strengthen BCBSND's brand.

She began her BCBSND career in 1990 as a claims adjudicator in Benefit Plan Administrators. She was promoted to supervisor and then to assistant vice president.

Schwartz earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University, Fargo.
