Can Aydinova joins BCBSND as director of Architecture and chief architect

Can Aydinova has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND), Fargo, as director of Architecture and chief architect in the IT division.

In this role, he works with business leaders throughout the enterprise, assisting in defining the strategy and capability of the business and mapping it to IT solutions. He directs the development and maintenance of the technology portfolio and roadmap, and align both with NMIC IT's technology strategy.

Before joining BCBSND, he worked as director of enterprise architecture and was chief architect for Knowledge Universe in Portland, Ore.

Born and raised in Cyprus, Aydinova earned a bachelor of applied sciences degree in applied physics from the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario in Canada. He earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix and is pursuing a doctorate in information technology from Minneapolis-based Capella University.

BCBSND is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
