FARGO — Cindy Cameron has been promoted to manager of Medical Review and Utilization Management at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).

In her role, Cameron is responsible for providing direction to a team of clinical and non-clinical staff. She works to ensure that reviewed services are medically appropriate and that work performed under her supervision is timely and accurate in accordance with established rules and guidelines.

Cameron joined BCBSND in 1995 as a managed benefits specialist in the Medical Management department. She is a native of Winnipeg, Manitoba, and graduated with a registered nursing degree from Red River Community College, Winnipeg.
