Dr. Elizabeth Faust joins BCBSND as medical director
Dr. Elizabeth Faust has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo, as a medical director in the Provider Relations, Reimbursement and Medical Management division.
She will provide leadership and oversight for quality management activities and medical policy development, and provide clinical support for utilization management, case management and disease management.
Born in Garden City, Kansas, Faust grew up in Kansas and Colorado. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa, and her medical degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City. Faust completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita.
Before joining BCBSND, she worked as a physician and chair of the Adult Psychiatry department at Sanford Health in Fargo.
BCBSND is an independent licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
