Fletcher named senior vice president of provider relations and reimbursement, and medical management

Sharon Fletcher has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo, as senior vice president of Provider Relations and Reimbursement, and Medical Management. She will provide leadership and direction for the newly combined Medical Management and Provider Relations and Reimbursement divisions, as well as oversee strategic planning.

Since 2011, Fletcher worked as senior project director for Stanley Black and Decker Healthcare Solutions in New Britain, Conn., where she provided strategic consulting for health care organizations to help them implement long-term process capabilities that create efficiencies. Fletcher spent the previous four years working at Altru Health System in Grand Forks as manager of Learning and Organizational Development, Excellence and Effectiveness. She has 23 years of experience in the human resource development, organizational development, strategic leadership and communications fields. Fletcher has held various senior level positions in the airline and technology industries.

Fletcher earned a doctorate in organizational leadership and behavior from Northcentral University in Prescott, Ariz. She has a master of science degree in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations from La Roche College and an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Point Park College, both in Pittsburgh.
