FARGO, N.D. — Two members were elected as consumer directors to the Board of Directors that governs Noridian Mutual Insurance Company dba Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) and two incumbents retained their board seats at the company's annual meeting held on Dec. 7 in Fargo.
The member-owned, not-for-profit insurance company holds an annual election for open seats on the board, which is made up of 13 men and women who represent business, government, health care and education. Eight are consumer directors and five are provider directors.
Greg Glasner was unopposed in his re-election bid as provider director. He is the president and chief medical officer of the West Region of Essentia Health in Fargo.
Lynn Paulson was re-elected to a consumer director position on the board. He is senior vice president and director of agribusiness development at Bell State Bank & Trust in Fargo.
Also elected as consumer directors were David Sprynczynatyk, Bismarck, adjutant general for the state of North Dakota, and Casey Stoudt, Jamestown, president and owner of R.M. Stoudt, Inc., a Ford dealership in Jamestown.
