Jim Wynstra joins BCBSND as Actuarial AVP
Jim Wynstra has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as assistant vice president of the Actuarial Department. He manages the department and is responsible for the rating and underwriting functions for group and individual health insurance products.
Wynstra had been vice president of Actuarial at Healthmarkets in North Richland Hills, Texas, where his responsibilities included risk management in administration practices, management of regulation issues in rate compliance and special pricing projects.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, located in Kenosha., and his master of science in actuarial science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
