FARGO — Jo Burdick has been hired as director of Clinical Excellence at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).
In her role, Burdick is responsible for directing the activities of utilization management, care coordination, care management, behavioral health, and the development of medical policy within the Health Innovation division.
Burdick previously worked for Sanford Health in Fargo as the executive director of Sanford Home Health. She also served as vice president of Patient Services Sanford Health Network, as the vice president of Sanford Home Services and as the senior director of Sanford Enterprise Home Health.
A native of Fargo, Burdick graduated from North Dakota State University, Fargo, with an associate's degree in nursing and went on to receive a bachelor's degree in nursing from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Moorhead, Minn. She earned a master's degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.
