Join First Lady Betsy Dalrymple and Kathleen Wrigley and BCBSND for National Walk@Lunch Day at state capitol

WHAT:

The Bismarck community is invited to join First Lady Betsy Dalrymple and Kathleen Wrigley and Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) to participate in National Walk@Lunch Day activities at the state capitol. Employees from Healthy North Dakota and North Dakota Public Employees Retirement System (NDPERS) will also participate.
WHEN:                

Wednesday, April 30
11:30 a.m.  – 1 p.m. (First Lady Betsy Dalrymple and Kathleen Wrigley will give a welcome and lead the ceremonial first lap around the capitol at 11:30 a.m.)
WHERE:

North Dakota State Capitol
600 East Boulevard Ave.
Bismarck, ND
AGENDA:

The event will follow this format:

  • Welcoming remarks by First Lady Betsy Dalrymple and Kathleen Wrigley.
  • First Lady Betsy Dalrymple and Kathleen Wrigley leads first lap around the state capitol.
  • General public, BCBSND, Healthy ND, and NDPERS employees continue to walk around state capitol during lunch break.
MEDIA ASSETS:
  • Visuals – There will be the opportunity to get video of First Lady Betsy Dalrymple and Kathleen Wrigley talking to walkers and leading the first lap around the state capitol. Also a good opportunity to get footage of people walking to use with story.
