Leslie Wietstock joins BCBSND as director of Reimbursement

FARGO, N.D. – Leslie Wietstock has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) as director of Reimbursement in the Health Network Innovation division.

Wietstock is responsible for the research, development, analysis and direction of BCBSND's reimbursement programs and payment methodologies for new and existing provider types. He will implement directives from the Board of Directors relating to reimbursement and coordinate interdivisional teams to address and implement key reimbursement and claims-related issues and recommendations.

Prior to joining BCBSND, Wietstock worked as the controller at the University of Mary in Bismarck. He also brings more than 27 years of health care industry experience, primarily in areas focused on finance, having previously served as chief financial officer of the Sanford Health Network North in Fargo.

Wietstock earned a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, and a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Dickinson State University, Dickinson, N.D. He also earned a master's of science degree in administration from Central Michigan University, Mt. Pleasant.
