On November 6, BCBSND sent a letter to its members outlining the company's position on health reform and what will happen in North Dakota if health reform in its current form becomes law. BCBSND wants meaningful health reform, but only if it's right for North Dakota. The letter explains that a public option tied to Medicare rates would be devastating for North Dakota providers and that premiums would actually increase under the new plan.
