N.D. Caring Foundation receives $15,000 Dakota Medical Foundation grant

The North Dakota Caring Foundation, Fargo, received a $15,000 match grant from Dakota Medical Foundation. Dakota Medical Foundation will match up to $15,000 the Caring Foundation raises through other sources.

The award will help support the Caring for Children program, which provides access to medical, dental and mental health services to children from working families that do not qualify for government-funded programs and cannot afford private insurance.

Dakota Medical Foundation, Fargo, focuses its efforts on improving health and access to medical and dental care in the region, with a special emphasis on children. Since 1996, the Dakota Medical Foundation has invested nearly $42 million to 374 nonprofit organizations in the region.

Caring for Children is founded and administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota.
