N.D. Caring Foundation receives $2,588 grant from F-M Area Foundation

The North Dakota Caring Foundation has been awarded $2,588 from the Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation, through its annual Community Grant Round.

The award will help support the Caring for Children program, which provides medical, dental and mental health services to children from working families that do not qualify for government-funded programs and cannot afford private insurance. The program is administered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo.

The Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation is a community foundation established in 1960 to support the charitable and philanthropic needs of Cass and Clay counties. The Fargo-Moorhead Area Foundation is the oldest and largest community foundation in North Dakota, and has granted more than $17 million to charitable groups since 2000.

The North Dakota Caring Foundation operates as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is privately funded by foundations, churches, individuals, businesses and civic organizations.
