FARGO, N.D. — Dan Klug has joined Noridian Mutual Insurance Company (NMIC) as director of People Strategy and Culture. NMIC offers quality health care coverage as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.
He is responsible to develop the enterprise learning and development strategy based on the organization's people strategy, values, executive goals and business need. He plans and directs the development, implementation and administration of all learning and development programs and cultural initiatives throughout the enterprise, while also developing and implementing proper metrics to build and analyze the return on investment of all programs.
Prior to joining NMIC, he worked as the chief development officer for Northland Community & Technical College in East Grand Forks, Minn., and Thief River Falls, Minn.
Klug earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a double major in marketing and management, from Minnesota State University Mankato in Mankato, Minn. He also earned a graduate degree in theology from the Association of Free Lutheran Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Minn.
