FARGO, N.D. — DeAnn Wagenman has joined Noridian Mutual Insurance Company (NMIC) as manager of Internal Audit. NMIC offers quality health care coverage as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

Wagenman manages the Internal Audit department, including responsibility for risk assessment, audit planning, audit policies and procedures, and the coordination of external audits. She oversees the performance of compliance, operational, information systems and financial audits, and the reporting of results to management.

Prior to joining NMIC, she worked as an audit manager at Widmer Roel, a public accounting firm in Fargo. In addition, she brings six years experience working in the insurance industry.

Wagenman earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from North Dakota State University in Fargo. She is a certified public accountant.
