NMIC names Renay Rutter vice president of Information Technology & Operations in Enterprise Strategic Services

FARGO, N.D. — Renay Rutter has been named vice president of Information Technology & Operations in the Enterprise Strategic Services (ESS) division at Noridian Mutual Insurance Company (NMIC). NMIC offers quality health care coverage as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

Rutter is responsible for leading the ESS division and driving enterprise technology strategy and execution. She has demonstrated leadership and business acumen in her role since joining NMIC in May of 2013, and has driven important process changes to its IT budget and capital expenditures, governance and contract processes.

Before joining NMIC, she was president and chief operating officer of a legal outsourcing and technology startup, now Integreon. In addition to holding various senior positions in the software and consulting industries, she also brings expertise gained while serving in multiple technical leadership roles during her 10 years with Great Plains Software, now Microsoft.

Rutter graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee where she earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing.
