FARGO, N.D. — Noridian Mutual Insurance Company (NMIC) has promoted Dan Klug to vice president of the Human Resources and Development division. NMIC offers quality health care coverage as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

Klug leads the functions for Human Resources, People Strategy and Culture. These functions include the development of Human Resources policies, programs and auditing, compensation and benefits, learning and development, employee relations, recruitment and employee engagement. He also assists NMIC's chief administrative officer with Human Resources issues.

He joined NMIC in 2014 as director of People Strategy and Culture.

Klug earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration, with a double major in marketing and management, from Minnesota State University Mankato in Mankato, Minn. He also earned a graduate degree in theology from the Association of Free Lutheran Theological Seminary in Plymouth, Minn.
