FARGO, N.D. — Stacy Devig has been promoted to manager of Compliance and Ethics at Noridian Mutual Insurance Company (NMIC). NMIC offers quality health care coverage as Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as a licensee of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association.

Devig supports the NMIC Compliance Officer by managing the Compliance and Ethics department to assure enterprise and divisional objectives are attained as related to the company's Compliance and Ethics Program. She also develops and maintains compliance and ethics policies, procedures and processes, and creates and facilitates compliance and ethics training and awareness programs. In addition, Devig investigates and reports on concerns of non-compliance, conducts compliance risk assessments and monitors risk responses, and researches and implements federal and state regulatory requirements.

Devig reports to senior management and/or the Audit and Compliance Committee of the Board regarding the status of compliance activities and concerns.

She began her career at NMIC in 2007 as a compliance specialist. In 2009, Devig was promoted to compliance analyst, and in 2012, she was promoted to senior compliance analyst.

Devig earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and criminal justice from Minnesota State University Moorhead.
