FARGO — Pat Bellmore has been promoted to chief marketing officer and vice president of marketing at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).
Bellmore, who took over his new duties on Sept. 1, provides leadership and direction for the development and implementation of strategic marketing and member objectives and plans.
"Pat brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will serve our employees and members well," BCBSND President and CEO Tim Huckle said. "I am confident and excited to see Pat step into this role. I know his leadership will continue to strengthen our organization."
Bellmore has worked at BCBSND for more than 29 years. He has spent the last 16 years as manager of district marketing at BCBSND, including serving as regional manager for eastern North Dakota since 2012.
"I am deeply honored to represent the marketing division of BCBSND and lead this great team of dedicated professionals," Bellmore said. "I look forward to providing our employer groups and individual members with the high quality health insurance and customer service that they have come to expect from BCBSND."
Bellmore, a Valley City, N.D. native, graduated from Valley City State University with a degree in Business Administration. He began his career at BCBSND in 1985 as a marketing representative for the Care Plan HMO in the marketing division. He has also served as an account executive , manager of the Fargo district, manager of national accounts and regional manager for eastern North Dakota.
