Jami Petry has joined Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota as director of the Quality Management Program. This program identifies and resolves issues that affect the quality of patient care and services, and measures improvements in medical outcomes.

Born in Moorhead, Petry grew up in Fertile, Minn., and earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing at North Dakota State University. She previously worked at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Fargo as the surgical/specialty care outpatient clinic nurse manager as well as the National Surgery Quality Improvement Program coordinator.

She lives in West Fargo.
