Dale Shook has been promoted to associate general counsel in the legal department at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota, Fargo. He is responsible to provide legal support for the various health insurance products and services offered by the company.

Shook joined BCBSND in 2003 as staff counsel in the legal department.

A native of St. Paul, Minn., he grew up in Fargo and graduated from Jamestown College with a bachelor of arts degree in English and history/political science. He received his juris doctor degree from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Neb.

He and his wife, Patricia, live in Fargo. They have three children, Emma, Benjamin and Ian.
