Tracy Farahmand promoted to manager of Contract and Product Services at BCBSND

FARGO — Tracy Farahmand has been promoted to manager of Contract and Product Services at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).

Farahmand is responsible for managing the preparation, administration and maintenance of all individual and group contract documents, member ID cards and benefit plan databases set up for BCBSND and its affiliates. In addition, she oversees the functions within the Contract and Product Services team to ensure all documentation prepared is accurate and consistent with company policy, meets individual and employer group expectations and complies with state laws.

Farahmand joined BCBSND in February of 2013 as a customer service representative in the Call Center. She was promoted to a member advocate role in December of 2013. In 2015, she was promoted to member advocate specialist. In January of 2017, she was promoted to team leader of the Call Center before being promoted to her current position.

A native of Riesel, Texas, Farahmand attained a bachelor's degree in psychology from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
