Lacey Bergh, Market President at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND), has been nominated for the 2026 YWCA Cass Clay Women of the Year. The recognition honors women who demonstrate outstanding leadership and advance opportunities, equity and well-being in their communities.
Bergh oversees statewide work to improve access, quality and coordination of care. She established BCBSND’s first Behavioral Health Advisory Committee, bringing providers together to strengthen behavioral health delivery across North Dakota. She also serves as a key leader in the development of BlueAlliance, a value-based care program designed to improve patient outcomes through provider collaboration and an emphasis on quality.
Her work reflects a commitment to affordable and equitable care, especially for women, families and communities facing barriers to services. Known for her principled and people-first leadership, Bergh is recognized for empowering teams, supporting professional development and mentoring women at all stages of their careers.
Bergh also contributes to the community through the Kindred Renaissance Zone Committee, the BCBSND Caring Foundation and previous service on the North Dakota Health and Human Services Autism Spectrum Disorder Task Force. Her nomination highlights her dedication to strengthening health and well-being statewide and her alignment with the YWCA mission of dignity, empowerment and community impact. We congratulate Lacey and all the inspiring nominees.
