Stacie Heiden name to Prairie Business Top 25 Women in Business 2026

Prairie Business magazine has named Stacie Heiden, vice president of Integration at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND), one of its Top 25 Women in Business for 2026. The honor recognizes women who demonstrate exceptional leadership and make a meaningful impact in their organizations and communities.

Since joining BCBSND in 2016, Heiden has led major initiatives that advanced access, quality and innovation in health care. Her leadership has supported the launch of NextBlue of North Dakota Medicare Advantage, oversight of Medicaid Expansion, development of VitellaCare primary care centers, managed by crossover and expansion of DakotaBlue affordable tiered-network health plans. She also championed modernization of the organization’s data systems and sponsored an organizational data literacy initiative to strengthen data-driven decision-making skills.

Heiden, who has served BCBSND members since 2016, brings more than 25 years of senior leadership experience across hospital systems, provider organizations and health plans. She is also deeply involved in community service through United Way of Cass‑Clay, the BCBSND Caring Foundation and leadership and mentoring organizations across the region.

Heiden’s recognition reflects her dedication to strengthening the health and well‑being of North Dakotans.
