Prairie Business magazine has named Andrew Bergeron, director of contracting at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND), to its 2025 40 Under 40 list. The honor recognizes young professionals across the region who excel in their careers and make a positive impact in their communities.
Bergeron joined BCBSND in 2021 and leads the organization’s provider network contracting and administration. His work ensures members have timely access to affordable, high-quality care. Under his leadership, BCBSND has advanced value-based contracting initiatives, strengthened networks for in-person and virtual care and developed innovative models that reward providers for improved outcomes and efficiency.
“Andrew’s strategic approach and collaborative leadership make a real difference for our members,” said Dan Conrad, CEO and President of BCBSND. “He understands that every negotiation and partnership ultimately affects the care people receive. This recognition highlights the importance of his work and the positive impact it has on communities across North Dakota.”
Beyond his professional role, Bergeron is active in volunteer efforts with Great Plains Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House and emergency food pantries. He also supports the Alzheimer’s Association’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s each year.
