Elisha Beck promoted to director of enterprise risk management at BCBSND

Fargo, N.D. — Elisha Beck has been promoted to director of enterprise risk for western North Dakota at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).

In her role, Beck is responsible for developing and maintaining the enterprise risk management (ERM) program, analyzing risk data by overseeing all operational risk management activities of the organization and developing methods used to provide ongoing risk oversight reporting to executive leadership and the board.

Beck joined BCBSND in 2011 as internal auditor in the Fargo HQ Office. In 2015 she stepped into enterprise risk management.

“COVID-19 has impacted a lot of organizations and has put a spotlight on risk management. I am excited to continue growing the ERM program more strategically and support the organization in identifying risks and opportunities for BCBSND’s continued success,” Beck said.

Prior to BCBSND, Elisha served as business office manager at State Farm Insurance. She is from Maple Grove, Minnesota and holds a bachelor’s degree from University of Minnesota-Duluth.
