Lynn Paulson is senior vice president and director of agribusiness development for Bell Bank. With more than 40 years of banking experience and working with people, businesses and community banks across N.D. and several Midwestern states, Lynn has a deep understanding of the important role healthcare and healthcare costs play in a person’s and business’ overall financial health.
Lynn’s experience in banking and financial operations includes starting Citizens State Bank and later merging four banks and three holding companies into Choice Financial. Financing farm operations and businesses for most of his life and having operated and still owning a family farm in Benson County, N.D., Lynn has a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing North Dakotans. A North Dakota State University graduate, Lynn teaches and speaks regularly at state and regional banking schools, association meetings, commodity group conferences and other events. Lynn was recently chosen to be an inaugural member of the newly formed National Senior Ag Lender Consortium.
An active community volunteer, Lynn is also a past member of the North Dakota Bankers Board of Directors and Legislative Committee, a past member of the American Bankers Association Rural Ag Bankers Committee and a past Noridian Mutual Insurance Company board member.
