Jodi Atkinson, president and chief executive officer of St. Andrew's Health Center and Clinic, Bottineau, has been appointed to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota Board of Directors.

The board appointed Atkinson to complete the remaining two years of a vacated three-year provider director term on the board.

Atkinson will serve on the board until December 2008, when she will be eligible for re-election. She has been assigned to serve on the board's audit and compliance committee and quality committee.

Atkinson has worked in the health care industry for the past 22 years and has previous experience as chief financial officer and human resources director at St. Andrew's Health Center.
