Fargo, N.D. – Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) Caring Foundation is pleased to announce scholarship opportunities available for the 2022 through 2023 school year. Students may now apply for one of 26 BCBSND Caring Foundation Health Profession Scholarships, as well as one Healthcare Leader Scholarship. Applications are due by Oct. 1, 2022.
The Health Profession Scholarship program is entering its fifth year of investing in tomorrow’s health professionals. The goal of this program is to address the health care workforce shortage by providing financial assistance to aspiring students.
In addition, BCBSND Caring Foundation is offering a Healthcare Leader Scholarship. The purpose of this scholarship is to identify, nurture and advance the next generation of North Dakota’s healthcare leaders.
Healthcare Leader applicants will develop an innovative and impactful project in the area of health care. Their project must incorporate a leadership development plan designed to support successful project outcomes, as well as academic and personal growth. The scholarship winner will receive a total of $5,000 to offset their school tuition costs.
