Kelsey Roth promoted to vice president of human resources at BCBSND

MINOT, N.D. — Kelsey Roth has been promoted to vice president of human resources for western North Dakota at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND).

In her role, Roth is responsible for strategic direction of corporate human resources and workplace services, enforcing and evaluating legally compliant human resources policies, procedures, identifying and implementing long-range strategic talent management goals.

"In this position, I look forward to influencing the team on their employee experiences and being with employees throughout their life cycle with us. I am proud to help my team care for themselves and their families," Roth says.

Roth joined BCBSND in 2017 as a director of human resources at the Fargo District Office. Prior to BCBSND, she worked in various human resources roles and has over 20 years of experience. She worked as a regional human resources manager for Amazon, executive team leader human resources at Target and human resources recruiter for Tecton Products.

Roth says her biggest achievement at BSBSND is creating a flexible work structure and focusing the organization on inclusion and diversity.

Kelsey is from Greenbush, Minnesota, and she holds a bachelor’s degree from University of North Dakota and a master’s degree from University of Mary.
