We are actually owned by our customers, who buy into BCBSND membership. It's a concept that goes back to the Great Depression when few could afford health care. Back then, BCBSND created plans that allowed "members" to put aside a monthly membership fee—a premium—to cover costs should the member require hospital services. That was the beginning of health insurance as we know it.

Our hiring process and job opportunities remain the same. BCBSND continues to operate as usual, and the planned affiliation with Cambia is still subject to regulatory approval. If you are interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply.

You can search for available jobs and apply online directly from a job opportunity. You'll be asked to create an account if it is your first time applying with us. You'll be prompted to upload your resume and/or cover letter and complete the background questions.

After you create a profile in our system, you are able to select areas of interest and experience as it relates to your background. Once those positions are posted, the system will send you an email inviting you to review the posting to see if the position is a fit with your experience and interest. You can apply at that time.

We attend many college career fairs throughout the region. When we can’t attend a specific university, we share nearby career fairs with the university's career services office.
