Due to the pandemic, 2020 was a whirlwind for all of us. Most businesses were challenged to make significant changes in real time. And, as we typically do, North Dakota organizations and individuals came together to overcome this crisis.
Recently we consolidated our organization-wide response to the pandemic. We found in 2020 alone, BCBSND absorbed $8 million of costs that would otherwise come from member cost sharing. Other efforts are included in the response report, available here.
