If you are covered by a BCBSND BlueDental group plan, you will see the Dental Preventive Incentive benefit on your group’s anniversary. This new benefit excludes preventive services from your annual benefit maximum. This means your dental insurance payment for preventive services like oral exams and cleanings does not reduce your paid maximum for the year. So your annual maximum dollars go further for basic and major dental services like fillings or crowns.
