Electronic Authorization Submission Through Availity Essentials Scheduled Down Time

Important Notice!
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota (BCBSND) is informing providers regarding the upcoming scheduled downtime to launch our new electronic precertification tool, Predictal. Availity Essentials authorization submissions access will be down starting Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at 6 a.m. CST to Monday, Nov. 13, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. CST. This downtime will not impact other areas of Availity Essentials functionality.

During downtime, providers can download, complete, and fax the appropriate paper precertification form found on our provider webpage or wait until the system is restored.

Refer to our BCBSND Providers webpage to prepare for the new precertification tool Predictal resources. To access our Predictal precertification guide select the Policies & Precertification tab from the main toolbar and then select the Predictal precertification guide.

This guide will continue to be updated as we begin our new process with Predictal, continue to refer to the online guide to review the most updated version.
