Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota’s (BCBSND’s) commitment is to pay applicable, clean electronic claims within 30 days, and applicable, clean paper claims within 45 days, unless otherwise specified within the provider's contract.
To meet these requirements, BCBSND is updating systems to track claim status and apply interest when necessary. This impacts our Commercial lines of business only.
